When cleaning engine bays I use Surfex at a dilution ratio of 20% and agitate with a detail brush, which can clean very dirty plastics and components. I use it to clean any oil spills on the plastic components and it cleans up well. A simple, do-it-all car cleaning product sounds too good to be true. You might think it'll be like one of those three-in-one shower toiletries that are so compromised they don't do anything. Asking a single product to be delicate enough to use on carpets and interior upholstery while also being able to cut through grease and oil sounds like an impossible task. I would always use the product diluted and never neat as there is a risk that this could cause staining on rubber or plastic. Most snow foamers will use it in conjunction with a snow foam lance attachment to their pressure washer, but you can also use them with a manual spray bottle or a garden hose attachment.

Don’t clean the glass inside your car with an APC as it can leave a residue behind. Use a dedicated glass cleaner like Invisible Glass. The good news is that it’s biodegradable and solvent-free so it’s less likely to cause staining and discoloration to fabrics and plastic. It can be diluted with water. Surfex HD should be diluted up to 200 to 1 with water which means it’s the most highly concentrated product here. That’s 95.5% water!

As mentioned above, most users will apply their snow foam through a specific lance attachment for their pressure washer. These aren’t always universal, so make sure you choose one that’s compatible with yours. They usually have a bottle into which you’ll pour the snow foam concentrate. And depending on the size of your car, this may need to be refilled several times.
